The attending marine surveyor, Josh Hannigan, will exercise reasonable care in conducting a visual inspection of the subject vessel and provide a written report. All details and particulars in the written report are believed to be true, but are not guaranteed accurate. All judgments, conclusions, and recommendations are expressions of opinion based upon skill, training, and experience after a routine visual examination of the vessel. No part of the report will be issued as an expressed or implied warranty of the condition of the vessel, of the value of the vessel, or of the cost of any repairs.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the surveyor will not remove any fasteners, fixed structures, or equipment, and will not disassemble any part of the hull, machinery or tankage for inspection or testing; therefore, internal condition of the equipment, systems, structure and tankage is unknown unless specifically stated otherwise. It must also be understood that many areas are not accessible for inspection and therefore defects may not be discovered. The services provided are not an engineering analysis of the vessel or its systems. The surveyor will not be responsible for the liability of wear, tear, deterioration, corrosion or defects during or after the inspection of the vessel including but not limited to its structure, integrity, machinery, equipment, systems, fittings, fasteners or tankage.

For a comprehensive inspection of the electrical system and wiring, an independent Electrical Survey would be required to verify the condition and note any deficiencies (a service which is NOT provided by Josh Hannigan). An independent engine survey is required to verify the condition and note any deficiencies with the main engines, transmissions and generators.

The attending surveyor shall have no liability for consequential damages, no liability for personal injury damages, no liability of property loss or damages, and no liability for punitive damages, all of which shall be deemed to have been knowingly waived upon receiving these Terms, Conditions, and Limitations. In no event shall the legal liability of Josh Hannigan, the attending surveyor, ever exceed the quoted amount paid by the requesting party for conducting the visual inspection, survey, appraisal or consulting and the issuance of the report, regardless of whether under theory of tort, contract, warranty, products, outrage, or otherwise.

By giving consent of confirmation of survey or services, the actual client / company or his / her agent, broker, captain or representative acknowledges agreement with these Terms, Conditions, and Limitations.
